Old event: Please discuss this with your own doc for better understanding in YOUR case. Essentially the medicaleze means you had an abnormal MRI finding (from long ago) of blood parts (hemosiderin) in the brain stem. Since there was no swelling (Vasogenic edema), this was not a recent event. Causes (etiologies) could have been blood vessel abnormalities or trauma.
