Yes very severe: Any time there is bleeding in the brain it is a life-threatening emergency and not what is occurring with chronic headaches. The vast majority of headaches are caused by tension in neck muscles pulling on the scalp or dehydration causing the usually floating brain to sag on its suspensary ligaments. Also, sinus infections. Tinnitus and dizziness usually arise from a problem in the inner ear.
