Foot surgery: I wouldn't consider this unusual in view of your recent surgery as irritated/ irritable nerve endings may have been provoked. Of concern would be increasing pain,swelling, spreading redness, wound discharge. If symptoms persist notify the podiatric surgeon who performed your procedure.
