1 month out from tarsal tunnel, baxton nerve surgery. i am starting to put full weight on foot. still have pins and needles, and some burning in foot top and bottom. when i stand on foot any length of time, it turns purple. normal at 1 month?

Yes, : Nerve surgery (at least in my opinion after 26 years of private practice) Is the least predictable/slowest recovery of most any procedure we do. Much of the recovery depends on how long standing the problem was prior to treatment. I tell my patients it will take 3-12 months to get a good idea of the amount of reliefe they will get. Typically pins, needles, burning and "zingers" grad improve w time
