Possible, unlikely: HSV2 is an unlikely cause of these oral symptoms, but might be possible if a) the "white spots" are open sores and painful, and b) if there is evidence HSV2 was acquired in the last 2-3 weeks. Do you have genital herpes symptoms? Was HSV2 diagnosed by swab test (oral or genital) or blood test? If blood, the result needs to be strongly positive; weakly positive results often are false.
