Stop penicillin: I am not sure about the white bumps, but the tongue swelling would make me concerned that your could be having an allergic reaction to the penicillin. It could all be related to whatever infection is going on, but stop the antibiotic and talk with your doctor. They may need to switch you to a different medicine to complete the treatment course for the strep throat.

Probable yeast infec: The antibiotics may have killed the bacteria in your mouth and a fungus (yeast) may be taking over. If you are done with the penicillin use a tooth brush to help clean your tongue, try a hydrogen peroxide or other mouth rinse and/or see your dentist.

Possible allergy: Many people develop allergies at different stages of their lives. The oral swelling (tongue) may well indicate the first allergic to a medication that you may have taken previously with no reaction ever before. Definitely let your doctor know about this reaction and consider an alternative antibiotic in the future that is not related to penecillin.

Possible allergy: Check for rashes on your body. You may have an allergy. This is common with penciling and its cousins. Take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) as a precaution. And call your dentist asap.
