Hello. my question is regarding gout. if my kidneys are functioning fine, why do they refuse to remove adequate uric acid from my blood? no one seems to know exactly why.

Drugs: Used to reduce uric acid in blood, either by decreasing formation or increasing elimination have specific recommendations. Talk to the doc who diagnosed and treating your gout what are your options going forward aside from diet.
