In both feet?: To have gout attacks in multiple areas at a time is unusual. Gout attacks do cause an increased activity in your inflammatory cells, i.e. Your white blood cells and this could cause pain in other areas of your body as the circulate. Having a uric acid level of 8 does not mean you have a gout attack, but does suggest you have the metabolic condition of decreased purine metabolism(gout).

See below: Gout on occasion can present with symmetric polyarthritis, but an elevated uric acid does not alone diagnose gout. Being a male, you are more apt to have an asymptomatic uric acid elevation. See a rheumatologist to see what is going on with your feet as you could have something else going on.
