A member asked:

Where gfr is low 52 to 59 in more than 3mos...and albumin is 3.4 to 3.6.. could this mean kidney disease? does albumen need to be either high or low? can albumen be on lower range of normal spectrum?

Yes: Your labs that need to be interpreted in clinical context, are suggesting early chronic kidney disease. Normal albumin range is somewhere 3.5-5. Make sure you talk to your treating physician about further establishing with a nephrologist.
