A member asked:

Can allergies reduce your sleeps quality? i've been waking up with sore throats, congestion, and post nasal drip as well as experiencing mental decline in the form of memory and slight coordination problems. sleep apnea test came back negative.

Sure: Irritations and annoyances in a person's head and neck, or his breathing, can disturb the person's sleeping, and also distract a bit from his awake functioning. Sore throats are not always allergies, but often are strep throat infections, viral infections, dry air (especially if mouth-breathing), stomach acid reflux, etc... Rechecking with one's primary care doctor can help solve the issues.
