Could be, but: allergy is a sort of chronic inflammation, and that can lead to congestion too, if claritin helped, fine, stay on it, use it regularly for sometime, even if you have no symptoms, read the labels carefully to make sure it suits you. If later symptoms develop, and claritin isn't as effective, you may want to see an allergist if u have access to one in your area, or follow up with your ENT specialist
