Hard to tell: Given only location it would be a little unlikely for pancreatitis. It sounds more of a stomach/hiatal hernia vs lung pathology. Do not hesitate to bring up to your physician's attention in case it persists. Always remember circumstances of onset as critical in better determining cause.

Blood test showed lipase levels slightly elevated. All else normal. What could cause the elevated result? Was told its not enough to indicate pancreatitis. Had blood in stool a month ago and ongoing left and right side abdominal/chest/back pain?
