can anxiety cause me to have heart pounding and hearing my heart. when i eat and drink liquid it hurt and make my chest tighten can my anxiety cause it. i am very unfocused and i get fustrated very quickly. i can't exercise without feeling my heart witch

Yes, anxiety can do.: High levels of anxiety can cause heart pounding, and a feeling of tightness in the chest that can make swallowing difficult sometimes. But check with your MD as other things can cause this. If physical is OK, consider CBT psychotherapy from psychologist who treats anxiety disorders. Slow deep breathing can also help, also mindfulness meditation can teach you to relax. Good luck-help is available
