Which 1 is effective in lowering bp for 38y old male? losartan 50mg once daily or telmisartan 40mg once daily. 1 dr gave me lost 50, another dr gave me telmi 40. am confusing. pls explain

Rules of thumb: Blood pressure should be managed by only 1 physician, your primary care or a specialist. Last year Losartan had a recall, so I would recommend Telmisartan. As to which one will work, that will take trial and error as well as adjusting. Stay physically fit, reduce salt in your diet, make sure you sleep well.
