Doctor prescribed 50mg losartan potassium daily to lower blood pressure. blood pressure fluctuates a lot recently (very high/very low daily). should she take the medication also when blood pressure is normal? we cannot reach doctor during pandemic.

Hi there, Hi there, losartan should be taken each day at the same time daily, and do not stop the medication unless the BP decreases dramatically.

Agree with Dr. Torres. Try reaching your doctor again. Germany and many other countries have begun to slowly relax restrictions. Many physicians have adapted their practices to provide telemedicine.
