None: The potassium is just the salt that stabilizes the medication. It is the only version of losartan available. Some pharmacy labels/physicians do not include the name of the salt.

Losartan potassium: All losartan, cozaar, is losartan potassium. Just because the losartan did not say "potasssium" does not mean it does not contain potassium. She has the same medicine now that she had in the past.
