My md wants me to change from avastin to eylea. does not eylea have more serious risks-sudden blindness than avastin given that its cost is far more than avastin? it seems the primary benefit is fewer injections needed over time with same benefit?

Side effects: Profile for Avastin is more serious though, however this is purely judgemental, meaning that your doctor made the choice based on several criteria peculiar to each individual patient, you can discuss that with the prescriber. A second opinion is still your right, not on this forum though, as more information is needed besides good physical examination to reach a decision, wish you well
