Due to abnormal blood vessel growth and fluid around the optic nerve, i get avastin injections every 8 weeks or so. will the avastin prevent blindness or will it just postpone? who is a candidate for laser tx for this dx? what is name of this dx?

Please repost: Please repost and include the answers to your questions given to you by the ophthalmologist who performs the Avastin injections, who - correct me if I’m wrong - most likely does visual acuity testing and OCT scans before each injection; or, if you have not asked your doctor these questions, please state why not.
