A member asked:

Hi doctors! my doctor is giving me eylea eye injections...i get them around every 2 to 2 and one-half weeks. why should i not get the injections more often? why wouldn't more medication injections help more?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eylea: The injections are given to slow progression. The basic problem remains. Timing of injection is determined by what your doctor see in your retina. The greater the time between the injections the better the control of progression. No injection will be given if progression is controlled and would not help the situation. However your doctor will keep you under observation.
