I have tenderness and pain in my second toe. i do not have any swelling or redness. do these symptoms indicate that i may have gout? if so, how can i i get tested for it?

Gout: Gout typically effects the great toe and is usually red and very painful. Typical onset is in men greater than 40. Other causes for toe pain can be pain at the metatarsal joint and a neuroma can be a common cause for toe pain.
