My husband has had a productive cough for two weeks, with recurrent mild fever he was doing better but today his fever went up to 103 f. he was placed on doxycycline for three weeks in may after a tick bite bc doctor was worried about lyme disease?

Pneumonia: Or other lung diseases will have to be ruled out. It sounds like he had a viral bronchitis, but symptoms should not last more than 1-2 weeks. Would suggest an urgent visit with his doc for an exam and imaging as necessary. Symptoms are not likely to be related to Lyme disease.
