Antihistamines: This sounds like allergy, especially common in temperate climates this time of year. Diphenhydramine (Benadryl and others) may help, but can make people sleepy with danger driving etc. (It's often used as a sleep aid.) Better to try one of the newer antihistamines less likely to cause drowsiness (e.g. Claritin, Zyrtec, commonly advertised on TV). The pharmacist can help you choose.
