55 yof. i have intermittent stabbing pain in front of left hip. sometimes right also. i walk incline treadmill every day. how would i recognize hip versus ovarian pain? it happens so sporadic and so brief its hard to pin down.

An exam will be needed in order to pinpoint possible cause or causes, best with your doc who will have access to your medical history. There are features that may suggest possible origin, unreliable specifically when pain has mixed origin. Keep a log with the pain, activities prior to onset, factors that may relieve the pain, duration, etc. Tests may be needed.
