Could be infectious: There are a variety of disease sates that cause granulomas. Tuberculosis, fungal diseases and sarcoidosisi are the most common casues if you have had a biopsy of one of thee I am certain they did stains to rule out tuberculosis and fungal infections. They should also do a tuberculin skin test. If everything is negative then sarcoid should be considered.
