3 ace tests 1st was 98, 2nd 111, 3rd 98. never put on medicine. granuloma in right lung calcified. can ace levels rise & fall w/o med? sarc chances?

ACE test: Is not helpful in diagnosing sarcoid. The test is neither sensitive for, nor specific to sarcoid. If calcified, its probably not sarcoid, but rather a leftover scar from many years ago and nothing to fret over. Tell your doctor no more "ace tests" unless they can tell you what they will do with abnormal results. Even if you have sarcoid, ace can't tell us whether to treat it. Most don't need rx.
