I have a large calcified granuloma in my lung found in 2004. did x-ray today & dr thinks it's growing& causing issues can it?

Yes it can: Size and position of nodule can obstruct a small airway and create atelectasis( a type of collapse). Your doctor has to make sure that this is not an active infection, or a nodule with malignancy. Serial ct scans are recommended usually.
