A member asked:

Why would my lh be slightly elevated (8.5) but all other bloodwork for pcos and hormones be normal? ultrasounds are normal. i have irregular cycles

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PCO: PCO stands as more of a clinical diagnosis than a diagnosis made by numbers falling into a certain pattern. That being said, the diagnosis is likely soley given the fact that you have irregular cycles. While the lab tests may be helpful in making sure the cycle irregularity is not caused by something else the diagnosis does not hang on them. Discuss management with your Gynecologist.
