30 years old. irregular periods all my life. lh was 8.5, fsh was 8.0. prolactin was 47. ultrasound and all other bloodwork normal. pcos or hyperprolac?

Irregular Menses: In all liklihood you have PCO. The prolactin is most likely a bit of a red herring in that there a multiple things that can cause a mild elevation of Prolactin and you have not given enough hisotry to comment on that. As a start, a repeat Prolactin level, done fasting, is needed to confirm a true elevation. All that being said, a good talk with your Gynecologist is in order.
