A member asked:

What does this mean? a. mucosa, duodenum, small bowel mucosa with mild chronic inflammation and scattered coccidian organisms. no dysplasia

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Parasite, no cancer: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, there is no cancer or other serious issue. You have a parasite infestation with coccidia and it can be treated by your doctor.
