A member asked:

Are root canals performed using the microscope better than without a microscope?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Root canals: done using a surgical microscope allow the doctor to better identify additional small passages (canals) that require cleaning and sealing. It also aids in the ability to identify internal cracks that may impact the ability to successfully complete the procedure. Finally I would want the work to be done by a board certified specialist. Short answer, yes they usually are more successful long term.
