A member asked:

I have seizures and sometimes i randomly drop things. it is not totally a drop its more like my hand just lets go. cant that be a seizure?

Doubt it: A seizure occurs when electrical activity within the brain jumps from its normal channels (nerve to nerve) like a short circuit. It can be focal or generalize to the whole brain. For you to have a "seizure" so focal that you just drop things is unlikely. You may have a nervous disorder that interferes with holding on, but I can't buy the idea of a brief "seizure" doing it.
