Calf pain : May be musculoskeletal . Stretching? Both or 1 calf ? if both ( or even 1)may also consider peripheral vascular disease ( do you smoke? high cholesterol) age 39 is young but family history and personal habits impact. This pain would abate immediately on cessation of running. Rarely if single leg could be clot in leg .F/u/ w/ md consider ultrasound studies to assess venous and arterial system
