A member asked:

What is meant by the following remarks in the ecg: non significant st depressions present in septal leads .otherwise normal. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

EKG changes : A clinical impression is usually not based on one test. I have seen patients with EKG which read concern for "MI" Myocardial infarction (heart attack) and they were normal. I have seen patients with a normal EKG with no chest pain then have a MI. The heart is functional, the EKG is a good test but an electrical shadow of the heart. You will need to see your doctor.
