I went to the er with my heart racing from a panic attack, the first ecg shows a horizontal st segment depression but after they gave me propranolol , the ecg was normal , doctor isnt concerned but is it normal that a fast heart rate will cause it?

It is possible for a fast heart rate to affect the appearance of an EKG. Although it is likely not to be serious, if you are having long-term issues, you should get checked out by a cardiologist. Good luck.
