Dentistry: i broke a previously dodgy molar down to the root, about 60% of it is gone and there is a ~5-6mm crater into my gum. dentists are all on holiday. can it wait 7 days? no pain due to previous root canal treatment. salt water rinsing.

Broken tooth: Tooth is non-vital (had root canal) and therefore it does not hurt. Still it needs to be evaluated. You maybe okay to wait for the dentist if there are away. Warm salt rinses, chewing on the other side fir the mean time is the recommendation. Tooth maybe saved is fracture was favorable (not too deep under the gums line).
