Bottom molar removed 9 days ago. no pain, but socket looks filled with yellowish stuff. is it still the clot i'm seeing? been rinsing w/salt water, but could it be food? photos of normal healing at 9 days just show indented gum, no scab like mine?

You appear to be healing fine, especially since you have no pain or swelling. If you are overly concerned have the oral surgeon take a look.

Do you keep the area clean. Does the area look differently after you rinse with salt water. Since you are, most likely, still going through a healing phase, I think what you are seeing is granulating tissue, which is normal, in the healing process. Still, continue to rinse, and keep area clean.
