OTC Medication: Take some advil, motrin, aleve (naproxen) or what you would normally take for a headache. Avoid very hot and cold foods until things settle down which should be shortly.

Keep it clean: Do as much of the oral hygiene as is possible. Use a topical anesthetic on any very sore areas. Wait a few days and it will go away.

Ibuprophen : Follow the instructions that your dentist gave you. If he gave you any perscription medications take as directed. If you ndon't have any pain medications, ibuprophen will provide pain relief until you can get back to the dentist that did your treatment call the dentist and see him asap

OTC pain meds: Take some Ibuprofen or Naproxen for the pain. If it persists and the otc meds don't help. Call the dentist.
