Have nodule over 3.5cm on thyriod. left thyroid removed 12 years back. ths levels normal. surgeon says needs to be removed, very big and already pressing on airway. what do i do? i'm not sure if i need to see a end, fna not suggested due 2 size

Second opinion: From what you described it appears that the nodule should be removed as it is pressing on your airway. If you are not comfortable with this, you should get a second opinion from a doctor who can examine you and evaluate the airway.
