If the FNA: Is definitively "negative" not just inconclusive, many endocrinologists would just observe and follow-up at a later date w/repeat lab, exam and ultrasound. There are other factors as well, and best discussed with your endocrinologist.

Severe hypo/hyper sx for the past month, can barely function. TSH, Free T4 ,T3 normal. Thyroid nodule FNA biopsy 2008 was ok. PET scan 2013 showed Hypermetabolic nodule. U/S showed mild heterogeneous thyroid. Can Hashimoto's be cause of my sx?

I have Hashimotos. June 2020 thyroid US says I have 7 nodules- 3 are SOLID. 1 is 10mm. Not on any medications. Have had NO therapy, surgeries, etc. Father was on thyroid meds long time ago. Should I be concerned about solid ones?
