Unlikely : A bruise is unlikely to turn into dvt unless you have a clotting disorder.

Bruise/wound: Rarely, however there are patients with genetic anomalies, ie: Factor V Leiden, MHTR, etc., who can be susceptible to developing clots or wounds often in the lower extremity. There are also situations where a somewhat innocuous wound seemingly 'heals' and down the road develop septicemia/DVT—It'd be prudent, if other symptoms occur generally to get checked by your doc-
