DVT and miscarriage.: DVT and superficial phlebitis are not common after miscarriages but, as in anything that could cause you to be off your feet, the risk of a blood clot increases. Ways to reduce the risk of DVT would be early mobility, wearing support hose and keeping physically fit and trim.
