I had a subtotal hysterectomy 20months ago. they discovered i had adenomyosis. i have auto immune issues but im not sure why ive been bleeding again. its happened a few times now.

Cervix: Presumably, the cervix is still present (sub-total hysterectomy). If this is the case, cervical tissue, which contains transitional epithelium, can undergo hormonal and related chsnges. The cervix can also be impacted by HPV and cervical cancer screening (Pap smear/HPV testing) is still relevant.
