Should get hyst: Adenomyosis is when the inner lining of the uterus grows into the muscle layer of the uterus, which can lead to very painful and heavy periods. However, as your periods are irregular and scanty, no need for hysterectomy due to adenomyosis. But if bladder is obstructed and you are unable to urinate or completely empty your bladder, this can lead to serious infections.
