Not Usually: If you truly have adenomyosis and it is large then there are not good options. Medical therapy is inconsistent and worth trying but often not very effective. Surgery in the form of removing the uterus is really the only proven therapy. Now if you have endometriosis there are multiple options. So it is important to get the best sense of what you have.
