Hi ive just had an ultrasound scan, they found fluid in my pelvis, im in a lot of pain and excess gas too, is this serious?

Fluid in pelvis: It depends. A small amount of fluid in the pelvis in a premenopausal woman can be normal. A large amount of fluid in the pelvis is usually not normal, so more information is needed. How was it described in the report?
