What does small amnt simple free fluid in rt adnexa. mean , i was having a lot of pain we were looking for a cyst during the pelvic ultrasound.

It is normal: For premenopausal females to have a small amount of simple, free fluid in the pelvis/adnexal area. Free means that is it free floating and not contained in any structure such as an abscess. Simple means that there are no " echogenic foci" within it which could represent blood or pus.

Normally OK: It is usually considered normal to have a small amount of free fluid in the female pelvis. The fact that it was located in the region of the right adnexa could indicate recent rupture of an ovarian cyst, although strictly speaking we can never know for sure. I hope this helps.
