I told my doctor today about my abdominal pain and burping etc and she has organised for me to have ca125 and cae tests. she doesn't suspect cancer.

May be: Ca 125 is a marker, not a very good one, for ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer usually has vague symptoms and your doctor is using one test that is available for screening, albeit not a very good test.
