A member asked:

A mixed lesion predominantly hypoechoic seen in right lobe of liver measuring about 4.4*2.9 cm.what to do now? is it dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes : Hypoechoic literally means that it does not bounce back sound waves very well. As a rule of thumb Hypoecoic solid nodules > than1-1.4 CM with macro-calcification should be biopsies and Spongiform nodules and cyst-no biopsy . Further work up including MRI to furthur felinet
