No, not simple cyst: Everyone can have 1 or 2 "simple" cysts in the liver & live a long, full life. If it is confirmed to be a simple cyst, & you have no other symptoms or conditions that explain its presence, then there's no need for follow-up. Chances are you will have it for the rest of your life & it will not cause any problems. Thanks for your question & thanks for using HealthTap.
