Consult radiologist: to determine if this is just a liver cyst ( common ) or a new growth in the liver. Not sure exactly what is meant by a "mixed lesion". The final diagnosis should come from a board certified radiologist.

The most common: incidental solid mass discovered on ultrasound is a benign hemangioma. However, there is not enough clinical info or ultrasound details provided to be able to make any kind of useful assessment.

Yes : Hypoechoic literally means that it does not bounce back sound waves very well. As a rule of thumb Hypoecoic solid nodules > than1-1.4 CM with macro-calcification should be biopsies and Spongiform nodules and cyst-no biopsy . Further work up including MRI to furthur felinet
